"Spork" is such a great word! And sporks are very handy things for eating if one is camping or something like that... or at a party when one doesn't have a lot of places to put flatware!

This is a commercially available titanium spork sold for the backpacking crowds, but with a colorful anodized finish. We scoured the surface of the spork, then used a jewelry torch to heat it in such a way that we achieved bands of vivid color. Fun and exciting to do! and we're very happy with the results.

Please note that anodizing creates a thin, colorful skin on the metal, and harsh cleaning can damage the colors created.
