Light implies shadows, and shadows require light. As each implies its opposite, so do the earrings in this pair. They are asymmetrical, with each being in most ways the negative of the other.

This pair of earrings are intentionally asymmetrical. I love asymmetrical earrings, and am happy with the way this pair worked out. Not only do the colors and shapes speak to each other, but the polished shine of the silver contrasts with the duller and somewhat battered look of the steel.
