This is a hammered-texture, large Mobius ring, in a size 11.5.

For this band I start with heavy stock and forge it out. I left it fairly heavy since I want some mass on the top of the twist. The cross section is rectangular with rounded ends, which looks more graceful and wears better than a hard-edged shape. I made the twist- annealling several times- and cut the band to the blank length for the size chosen after creating the hammered texture.

After soldering the ends together, I anneal the ring and make it round and the correct size; this also hardens the metal to make it more durable.

Sterling silver.

Please email me for details; I would love to make your ring for you!

Each one ofthese rings is individually made for the particular client, starting from purchased rod which I forge out to make the ring blanks. They are not cast, or mass-produced.
