Plique-a-jour enamel resembles miniature stained glass, and glows when held up to the light. Filigree- the technique I used to shape the cells in this piece- involves the shaping and soldering of tiny wires to hold the enamels and to add structure and design to the piece.

This pendant is in three pieces which move with the wearer. The garnet drop is intended to sit just above the wearer's cleavage.

Sterling and fine silver, plique-a-jour glass enamel, garnets.
