This is an example of a more delicate version of my Möbius rings, suitable for smaller fingers in the size 4-7 range, or for people who prefer a more narrow band.

The second photo shows this more slender ring on top of my "standard" width.

For this band I start with heavy stock and forge it out. I left it fairly heavy, though, since I wanted some mass on the top of the twist. The cross section is rectangular with rounded ends, which I thought would look more graceful and wear better than a hard-edged shape. I made the twist- annealling several times- and cut the band to the blank length for the size chosen.

After soldering the ends together, I anneal the ring and make it round and the correct size; this also hardens the metal to make it more durable.

Sterling silver.

Please email me for details; I would love to make your ring for you!

Each one ofthese rings is individually made for the particular client, starting from purchased rod which I forge out to make the ring blanks. They are not cast, or mass-produced.
